Getting started

Pick a competition at the top. Tap Follow / Compare teams and choose the clubs you care about, then tap the ☆ next to one to make it your team. Everything below — fixtures, form, standings, charts — follows that choice.

Following clubs and your team

You can follow up to 6 clubs per competition; they appear across the app and in the charts. Your team (the ★) is the one club that gets alerts, the live tile and the home-screen widget.

Why can’t I change my team right now?

While your team is playing, the ★ is locked until the final whistle. It stops a mid-match switch from silently moving your alerts and tile to another game. Once the match ends, change it as often as you like.

The live strip and the live tile

When one of your starred clubs is playing — in any competition — or a club you follow in the competition you are viewing, a live strip appears at the top with the score and clock. It is the same whichever Fixtures filter you pick; the filter only changes the calendar. In the app, your team’s match also gets a live tile on your Lock Screen (and, where your device has one, in the Dynamic Island or at the top of the screen). It keeps the score and minute current while the app is closed.

Notifications

Before kick-off: a reminder for your team, at the notice you choose — an hour, 30 or 15 minutes before, or at kick-off.

During the match: goals and red cards for your team.

Both come from the FutbolPad app on your phone or tablet. A browser can’t send either: it can’t wake you when it is closed. Turn them on in Settings → Notifications.

The match sheet

Tap any match. The score and match events come first, then statistics, Beyond the scoreline (what the score doesn’t show), line-ups, and head to head. A live match keeps updating while the sheet is open.

Head to head

Every meeting between the two clubs from 2024/25, 2025/26 and the current season, in every competition we cover. A meeting in another competition is labelled — a Champions League tie on a Premier League match, for example. Older meetings are left out on purpose: in three years the coach, the players and often the ground have changed.

Power grid and Power score

The Power grid plots each club by big chances created per match (across) and goals scored per match (up); the ring shows goals conceded. The Power score ranks every club in the competition on chances, goals and defence — fewer conceded is better — and averages the three into one number. In short: who tried, who scored, who kept them out.

Control Index

Was this side running the game, or chasing it? Big chances created and shots on target, divided by fouls and cards. It ignores the score, which is why it looks ahead: in the 2025/26 Premier League, the first half of the season predicted the second half better than the table did.

Make the case

Pick two clubs and it lays out the evidence side by side — who has the better numbers, and where. It appears in a match’s head to head before and after the game (not during it), and under the Power grid when exactly two clubs are selected.

Past seasons

Choose a season from the season menu. 2024/25 and 2025/26 are included for every signed-in reader. The first time you open one, it downloads once (about 3 MB); after that it opens instantly, even offline.

Search

The magnifier at the top finds clubs and players in the competition on screen. Accents don’t matter — “odegaard” finds Ødegaard. Tap a result to open the club or the player.
